The Beat Goes On - Cher Tribute

TUNICA, Miss. (Nov. 10, 2025) – Gold Strike Casino Resort, the Mid-South’s premier casino resort destination, will welcome the award-winning tribute to the Goddess of Pop, Cher, with “The Beat Goes On” at 8 p.m. April 17, 2026, at the Gold Strike Theatre inside the casino.
An extraordinary theatrical celebration, “The Beat Goes On” honors the legendary life and music of Cher. This dazzling production stars acclaimed performer Lisa McClowry, recently honored as Tribute Artist of the Year (2023) by the Josie Music Awards, the world’s largest international independent artist awards ceremony, held at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tenn.
“The Beat Goes On” pays tribute to Cher’s unparalleled six-decade career, which has redefined music, film and fashion. With more than 100 million records sold worldwide, Cher remains one of the best-selling music artists of all time. Her accolades include a Grammy Award, an Emmy Award, an Academy Award, three Golden Globes, a Cannes Film Festival Award, the Billboard Icon Award and recognition from both the Kennedy Center Honors and the Council of Fashion Designers of America. Cher is the only artist in history to have earned a No. 1 single on a Billboard chart in six consecutive decades — a testament to her enduring influence.
Bringing Cher’s story to life is Lisa McClowry, a dynamic singer, actress and producer whose transformation into the superstar is nothing short of captivating. With more than 30 years in the entertainment industry, 25 albums and numerous theatrical credits, McClowry combines vocal mastery, stage charisma and heartfelt authenticity to honor one of music’s most iconic figures.
The show will travel through Cher’s greatest hits, from “I Got You Babe” and “Gypsies, Tramps and Thieves” to “If I Could Turn Back Time,” “Believe” and tracks from her “Dancing Queen” album. The production features eight elaborate costume changes, immersive video projections, humor, audience interaction and live or tracked music, creating the illusion that Cher herself has taken the stage.
Described by Caesars Entertainment Senior Vice President and General Manager Randy Convoy as “a home run,” “The Beat Goes On” offers an unforgettable evening of glamour, nostalgia and show-stopping entertainment.
