TUNICA, Miss. (Feb. 9, 2026) – Gold Strike Casino Resort, the Mid-South’s premier casino resort destination, will welcome Tom Petty tribute artist American Petty at 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 21, at Gold Strike Theatre inside the casino.
Formed in 2018, American Petty is a high-energy tribute to the late, legendary Tom Petty and his iconic band, the Heartbreakers, and has earned accolades with audiences across the country.
The group celebrates the music, spirit and unforgettable live-show experience that fueled Petty’s more than 40-year career and cemented his place as one of rock music’s most beloved artists. Audiences can expect to hear iconic songs such as “American Girl,” “Refugee,” “Free Fallin’” and more during an evening honoring one of rock’s most enduring catalogs.
