Warrant serves up ‘Cherry Pie’ at Gold Strike Casino Resort Jan. 15
TUNICA, Miss. (Aug. 31, 2026) — Gold Strike Casino Resort, the Mid-South’s premier casino resort destination, will welcome ’80s hair metal band Warrant inside the Gold Strike Theatre on Friday, Jan. 15, 2027, at 8 p.m.
Warrant emerged from Hollywood’s Sunset Strip music scene and rose to national prominence with the release of its multiplatinum debut album, “Dirty Rotten Filthy Stinking Rich,” in 1989. The album introduced audiences to rock favorites, including “Down Boys,” “Sometimes She Cries” and “Heaven,” which reached No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100.
The band followed its successful debut with 1990’s “Cherry Pie.” The album produced the Top 10 hits “Cherry Pie,” “Uncle Tom’s Cabin” and “I Saw Red” and sold more than 3 million copies. Its title track has remained a fixture in popular culture, appearing in movies, television shows, commercials and the video game Guitar Hero II.
Throughout its career, Warrant has sold more than 10 million albums worldwide and built a catalog known for combining hard-driving rock with melodic hooks. The band’s current lineup features lead vocalist Robert Mason alongside longtime members Jerry Dixon, Steven Sweet, Joey Allen and Erik Turner.
Warrant continues to headline festivals, casinos and fairs nationwide, delivering energetic performances featuring fan favorites as well as newer music from “Louder Harder Faster.” The album includes the title track and the band’s rendition of the Merle Haggard classic “I Think I’ll Just Stay Here and Drink.”
